Chirotouch stores all data in a database applciation which is Microsoft SQL. To get better performance from SQL operations your server needs more memory (ram).
Also another important thing is hard drive. For Chirotouch you should use SSD hard drive to to deliver data faster. SSD drives are 10 times faster then regular hard drives.
We do recommend:
- at least 16Gb ram
- 4 Core Xeon Processor
- SSD Hard Drive
Cloud Server
Yes. You can also run Chirotouch on a cloud server which is a better option then a physical server. In order to do that you will need couple of things.
- Cloud server from Google or Amazon AWS. will cost around $100/mo
- VPN Connection between your office and cloud server network
- Very professional IT guy
